Supporting the mental health of yacht crewmembers

MedAire's emotional support solution offers both preventive and responsive strategies for managing mental health on board.

Living and working on a superyacht in close quarters can create a challenging environment. MedAire supports crewmembers to develop their resilience, faced with such challenges as:

  • Culture shock and cross-cultural transition, personally and professionally
  • Marital and family conflict
  • Substance abuse or mis-use
  • Anxiety and fear about safety for self and others (i.e.: loved ones in home country)

Designed specifically for superyacht crew, MedAire’s Emotional Support services assist Captains and their crewmembers to deal with psychological and emotional issues. Accessed via the same MedAire phone number, crew members can communicate in the language they are most comfortable speaking, with 60+ languages available.
