| PHOENIX, May 14, 2009 – In the wake of the current H1N1 influenza outbreak, and due to high client demand, MedAire has developed a Flu Kit to help aviation and maritime crewmembers prevent the spread of H1N1 and seasonal influenza. “MedAire’s Flu Kit offers a complete solution for minimizing the spread of influenza—H1N1, or otherwise,” says Robb Leigh, M.D., MedAire Chief Medical Officer. “Ultimately, when a person presents with flu-like symptoms—especially a cough—he or she should be placed in an isolation area onboard the aircraft or yacht. MedAire’s Flu Kit includes:
In addition to the Flu Kit, MedAire, an International SOS company, offers additional aviation and yachting medical kits designed to treat injury and illness most often encountered in remote environments.
