MedAire launches Aviation Alerts, in-depth insights into emerging threats to air travel. The new Aviation Alerts deliver information on global incidents and events that may impact the aviation industry or heighten risks to aircraft during their operations.
Over 100 Aviation Alerts have been created in the past few months and issued to clients participating in the Beta program. These alerts are bringing value to international and domestic operators, spanning all weight classes – light, medium, heavy and executive.
“We have seen incredible interest in these alerts. Our clients are sharing them widely throughout their organizations, which shows the importance of security related information to our members,” said Andrew Nicholson, Global Security Director at MedAire.
MedAire has seen an increase in new security requests over the past few months and expects the trend to continue following the expanded entitlement programs with Gulfstream, Boeing, Textron and Embraer, which includes Comprehensive Security and Medical Assistance on all new aircraft.
“The development of the Aviation Alerts shows our commitment to provide members easy access to credible resources on security threats,” said Bill Dolny, MedAire CEO. “Thanks to input from our clients and customer advisory board, we continually added services to provide best-in-class security briefings on issues important to business aviation. These alerts are the newest improvement.”
Flight departments around the world rely on MedAire’s security products. Included in MedAire’s core Comprehensive Membership program are medical and travel security risks by country; Aviation Travel Security Briefs, Air Space Assessments and Go/No Go Assessments. Aviation Alerts are issued in response to specific events or trends that could threaten the ability to operate safely – whether due to natural disasters, overflight risks, or emerging airspace concerns.
